Λόγος εὐλογίας Ἑνώχ, καθὼς εὐλόγησεν ἐκλεκτοὺς δικαίους οἵτινες ἔσονται εἰς ἡμέραν ἀνάγκης ἐξᾶραι πάντας τοὺς ἐχθρούς, καὶ σωθήσονται δίκαιοι.
The book that Jude quotes and the internet cannot stop discussing opens like a prophecy: a "word of blessing" spoken by Enoch — the man who "walked with God and was not" — not for his own generation but for a far-off one, the chosen righteous who will stand on the day of distress.
