The hands and the seminary

Read the full text in our reader

The own hands, touched, pressed, as if fused, could not say everything. — I am man! When I repeated this for the third time, I thought of the seminary, but as one thinks of a danger that passed, an aborted evil, an extinguished nightmare; all my nerves told me that men are not priests. The blood was of the same opinion.
