O fecho: entregar a própria felicidade à opinião alheia é perdê-la.
O fecho é uma acusação delicada: enquanto não te respeitas, entregas tua felicidade às cabeças alheias — passas a viver das «almas e opiniões dos outros». Para Marco, isso é o avesso do princípio anterior: tirar a felicidade de dentro e depositá-la onde não a controlas. Quem depende do que os outros pensam nunca tem paz, porque nunca manda no juiz.
