ἐξῆλθεν δὲ Κάιν ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ᾤκησεν ἐν γῇ Ναὶδ κατέναντι Ἐδέμ.
Ναίδ (Hebrew נוֹד, Nōḏ) is not really a place-name at all in the Hebrew but a pun on נָע (nāʿ, "wandering," from v.12) — "the land of Wandering" east of Eden. The LXX simply transliterates it, losing the wordplay a Hebrew reader would have caught instantly: Cain's sentence has become his address.
