καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἑρπετῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν θηρίων καὶ ἀπὸ πάσης σαρκός, δύο δύο ἀπὸ πάντων εἰσάξεις εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, ἵνα τρέφῃς μετὰ σεαυτοῦ· ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἔσονται.
The animal manifest begins. θηρίον, “beast, wild animal”, is also a common NT word (Acts 28:4–5, of Paul’s viper on Malta) — the same noun the Great Library’s Revelation volume treats at length in its own θηρίον note. The doubled δύο δύο, “two two”, is itself the Greek’s way of expressing distribution — “two by two, a pair of each.”
