δύο δύο εἰσῆλθον πρὸς Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ ὁ θεός.
The sentence begun in verse 8 finishes: two by two they came in, exactly as commanded — the narrative's formulaic close for this movement.
