The oath is taken.

Then they all swore together and bound themselves by curses to one another by it.
The answer is an oath with a curse attached. ʾAwgaza, Dillmann says, means to excommunicate, to put under a ban, to anathematize: each angel calls a curse down on himself if he backs out. “All of us” comes twice. Nobody is to be left alone with the debt.
Charles printed the second “plan” in square brackets: some manuscripts have it and some do not, and he was not sure it belonged. The reader keeps his brackets.
