Interpretation
He cut through the arteries of her blood, and the north wind carried it off to hidden places.

Marduk went into battle with seven winds. The north wind now carries Tiamat’s blood away.

Langdon reads ana puzrāt, “to hidden places”. Later editions, working from more copies, read ana bussurāt, “as good news”: the wind carries the blood off as the message of victory. The two words differ by little more than a sign or two.
