The weapon is Leoncio's own, handed back: sarcasm, 'de que se servira contra elle', which he had just used. And Henrique holds the winning hand — 'as circumstancias lhe permittião', the circumstances allowed it — because he knows something his tormentor does not want known. The blow will be 'victorioso e decisivo', sure and final, precisely because it is aimed at a secret.
