— May a foul leprosy consume you, wicked thing!
The second curse turns bodily and disfiguring — leprosy, the disease that eats a person away and casts them out. 'Cousa ruim,' wicked thing, reduces the overseer to an object, the way he reduces them; the insult answers the injury in kind.
