There, Margaret, the sun is for ever visible,
Allí, Margaret, el sol es visible por siempre,
Walton pinta a su hermana el polo como una tierra de luz perpetua.
«For ever» — por siempre, para siempre — describe el sol de medianoche del verano polar, que no se pone. Walton escribe a su hermana Margaret; el tono es de carta íntima y exaltada. «Visible» se dice casi igual que en español, pero con la «v» que muerde el labio (VÍ-si-bol).
