Blade and dagger

The blade of his sword, like an elastic snake, supple and swift, wheeled hissing and cast its strike with the speed and certainty of the rattlesnake. The throw of his dagger, hurled by the nimble arm and helped by the body's agility, was like a thunderbolt; it streaked a cross of fire in the air, and fell upon the enemy's chest and struck him dead.
