«Hamlet» es una aldea pequeña, menor que un «village»; nada que ver con el príncipe de Shakespeare. «Half-way up the mountain» — a media altura de la montaña — sitúa Dörfli en el punto medio del ascenso: el mundo de los hombres queda abajo, el de Heidi y el Abuelo, arriba.
