Καὶ καθίσας κατέναντι τοῦ γαζοφυλακίου ἐθεώρει πῶς ὁ ὄχλος βάλλει χαλκὸν εἰς τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον · καὶ πολλοὶ πλούσιοι ἔβαλλον πολλά ·

And he sat down opposite the treasury and watched how the crowd put money into the treasury, and many rich people put in large sums.
