καὶ ἄρχειν τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ τῆς νυκτός, καὶ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ σκότους· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν.
The lights' commission is restated in the third person, now describing what has actually happened rather than what was commanded — a summary before the day-refrain closes day four.
