Ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ εἰσῆλθεν Νῶε, Σήμ, Χάμ, Ἰάφεθ, υἱοὶ Νῶε, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Νῶε καὶ αἱ τρεῖς γυναῖκες τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν.
The eight passengers are named in full — Noah, his three sons by name, and the four wives — the ark's whole human cargo (cf. 1 Pet 3:20, “eight souls” saved through water).
