καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἔχει πνοὴν ζωῆς καὶ πᾶς ὃς ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς ξηρᾶς ἀπέθανεν.
πνοὴν ζωῆς, “breath of life,” uses a different word for “breath” (πνοή) than 7:15's πνεῦμα — the same root that gives πνέω, “to blow,” and that Paul echoes at Acts 17:25, “he himself gives to all life and breath [πνοή].”
