καὶ ἐπισχὼν ἔτι ἡμέρας ἑπτὰ ἑτέρας πάλιν ἐξαπέστειλεν τὴν περιστεράν, καὶ οὐ προσέθετο τοῦ ἐπιστρέψαι πρὸς αὐτὸν ἔτι.
οὐ προσέθετο ... ἔτι, literally “did not add ... still,” is a Hebrew idiom (Hebrew לֹא־יָסְפָה) carried woodenly into Greek to say simply “did not do it again” — the dove has found somewhere else to live; the earth has become habitable.
