πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς γῆς σπέρμα καὶ θερισμός, ψῦχος καὶ καῦμα, θέρος καὶ ἔαρ ἡμέραν καὶ νύκτα οὐ καταπαύσουσιν.
The four paired rhythms of the natural year — sowing/harvest, cold/heat, summer/winter, day/night — are promised never to fail, reaffirming creation's own ordering (Gen 1:14) now that the Flood is over. ἔαρ, “spring,” is a rare word in Biblical Greek that never occurs in the New Testament.
