I will remember my covenant

καὶ μνησθήσομαι τῆς διαθήκης μου, ἥ ἐστιν ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πάσης ψυχῆς ζώσης ἐν πάσῃ σαρκί· καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι τὸ ὕδωρ εἰς κατακλυσμόν, ὥστε ἐξαλεῖψαι πᾶσαν σάρκα.

The setting

μνησθήσομαι ("I will remember") — for God, remembering is never mere recollection but an act that changes the outcome for those remembered: the same verb of Mary's song, "he has remembered his mercy" (Luke 1:54), and of the thief on the cross's plea, "remember me" (Luke 23:42). ἐξαλείφω ("to blot out, wipe away") reappears at Rev 21:4 and 7:17, of God wiping away every tear.
