καὶ λαβόντες Σὴμ καὶ Ἰάφεθ τὸ ἱμάτιον ἐπέθηκαν ἐπὶ τὰ δύο νῶτα αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπισθοφανῶς καὶ συνεκάλυψαν τὴν γύμνωσιν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν· καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν ὀπισθοφανές, καὶ τὴν γύμνωσιν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν οὐκ ἴδον.
Shem and Japheth's reverence is drawn out at length, with two rare LXX-only words emphasizing the same point twice — ὀπισθοφανῶς ("backward-facing") as an adverb, then ὀπισθοφανές as an adjective — neither found in the New Testament. νῶτα ("backs") recurs at Rom 11:10, quoting Ps 69:23 LXX.
