Moças e velhas, todas á uma, se repetiam, aconselhando-a a reconciliar-se com seu primo, e dar a seu pae a alegria que o pobre velho tanto rogava a Deus, antes de fechar os olhos.

Young women and old, all with one voice, kept repeating, urging her to reconcile with her cousin, and to give her father the joy the poor old man so begged of God before closing his eyes.
