. And he answered and said: Enoch, a righteous man who is from God, [while] his eyes are open, and sees a holy vision in the heavens, which the angels showed me; and I heard from them everything, and I understood what I saw, and not for this generation, but for the one that is to come, far off.

The Book of Enoch 1.3 · The Holy and Great One📜 Charles 1906, the printed page
Enoch gives the heart of his message as a parable: God leaves his dwelling.
· · ·
Concerning the chosen I said, and I took up concerning them a parable: The Holy and Great One will come forth from his dwelling.
Enoch speaks of himself in the third person, “Enoch, a righteous man”, and then in the first, “which the angels showed me”. His eyes are kǝśuṭāt, “open”, and Dillmann cites this verse for that sense of the word, said of eyes. He cites it again for rāʾǝy, “a vision”, for ʾarʾaya, “to show”, and for samʿa, “to hear”, in the form “to hear from someone”, which is the one used here.
The last words say who the book is for. Rǝḫuqt is “remote”, and Dillmann notes that the word is rarely said of time, with this verse as his example: a generation far off in time. Enoch writes for readers he will never meet.
