Interpretation
and bracelets and ornaments, and the use of kohl and the beautifying of the eyelids, and stones of every kind, precious [and choice], and all the dyes of colour, [and the exchange of the world].

The list moves from weapons to adornment. ʾAwqāf are bracelets (Dillmann: armilla, brachiale) and sargʷ is adornment (ornatus, ornamentum). Takʷǝḥlot is the use of kohl, eye paint. Dillmann lists the verb under takʷǝḥla, to paint one’s own eyes with stibium, antimony, and cites this verse. Qarnǝb, the eyelid, is a word Dillmann thinks is built on qarn, “horn”; his Latin is cilia, palpebrae. The stones are kǝbur, precious, and ḫǝruy, chosen; Dillmann’s example for the second is ʾǝbn ḫǝrit, “a chosen stone” (Isaiah 28:16). The dyes are ṭǝmʿat, which Dillmann glosses tinctura and for which he quotes this phrase.

The last words are in Charles’s brackets, and the reader keeps them: tawlāṭa ʿālam, literally “an exchange of the age”. Dillmann’s dictionary reads the phrase here as metallum vel metalla, “metal, metals”. Charles marks it as doubtful.
