— Tambem tu, André, vens por tua vez aproveitar-te da occasião para me atirar lama na cara?...
— You too, André, come in your turn to seize the moment and fling mud in my face?...
Isaura's patience frays into a weary reproach. 'Tambem tu, André?' — you too? — sets him in the line of her tormentors, and 'atirar lama na cara,' to throw mud in the face, names what she feels every one of these visits to be: a defilement. She has understood that his flattery is only Rosa's cruelty in a softer voice, one more person 'taking advantage of the moment' of her helplessness.
