Everything made her cry out in delight

Everything held an inexpressible charm for her: the tears of the night trembling like diamonds on the palm-fronds; the butterfly that, its wings still numb, awaited the sun's warmth to revive; the widow-bird hidden in the foliage warning its mate that day was breaking — everything made her let out a cry of surprise and delight.
