Fr. Ângelo di Luca achava-se então no pouso como missionário, incumbido da catequese e cura das almas entre o gentio daquele lugar; em seis meses que apostolava conseguira aldear algumas famílias que esperava breve trazer ao grêmio da igreja.
Fr. Ângelo di Luca was then at the waystation as a missionary, charged with the catechism and cure of souls among the heathen of that place; in the six months he had preached there he had managed to settle some families that he hoped soon to bring into the fold of the church.
