Cecília and the hummingbird

Cecília ran through the valley chasing a pretty hummingbird that in its swift flight shimmered with a thousand colors, sparkling like the prism of a sunbeam. The lovely girl, her face alight, laughing at the wheeling turns the little bird made her take, as if it were playing with her, found a keen delight in that frolic.
