τὸ τόξον μου τίθημι ἐν τῇ νεφέλῃ, καὶ ἔσται εἰς σημεῖον διαθήκης ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ τῆς γῆς.
τόξον is the ordinary Greek word for the war-bow (Rev 6:2 is the only NT occurrence, of the rider on the white horse) — the same word LXX uses here for the rainbow: God's weapon, unstrung and hung in the clouds, as a sign of peace rather than war. τόξον itself does not occur elsewhere in the Greek Pentateuch's flood account outside these verses.
